#SIS: BIO Die erste Erfahrung von SIS mit elektronischer Musik war mehr oder weniger zufällig. Inspiriert von Dj Karotte, der im Alter von 21 Jahren im Frankfurter U60-Club perkussive indische Beats spielte, entschied er sich sofort für seine Zukunft.

http://ProDJ.de Press  |  Burak Sar alias Sis wurde 1980 in #Michelstadt, Süddeutschland, geboren und schon in jungen Jahren von seinem Musikvater inspiriert, der ihn mit seiner türkischen Musikgruppe mit einer Vielzahl von Musikinstrumenten und Rhythmen bekannt machte. Sis gründete eine Rockband und spielte Schlagzeug, kaufte sich aber nach seiner Dancefloor-Epiphanie ein Paar Technics 1210 und lernte das Mischen. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit begann er, seine DJ-Fähigkeiten zu entwickeln und in kleinen Clubs und auf Partys in Frankfurt und Mannheim zu spielen. Sis gab sich nicht damit zufrieden, sich auf das DJing zu beschränken, sondern begann, die Seile der Produktion zu lernen, indem er sich auf seine musikalischen Wurzeln stützte, um seinen eigenen einzigartigen Stil der House-Musik zu kreieren. Sis gewann mit seiner ersten Veröffentlichung (Lilly aus der Valley-EP, Amused Rec.) Im Jahr 2006 Selbstvertrauen und gewann bald mehr Schwung. Nach einem Release für 8bit Rec. (Voices of Istanbul EP), internationale Aufmerksamkeit erlangte er Ende 2007 mit seiner ersten EP für Cecille Rec. (La Garua / Orgsa), ein Rekord, der innerhalb eines Tages in Geschäften in ganz Europa ausverkauft war. Seine zweite Veröffentlichung für Cecille (Nesrib) war eine echte Bombe, die von allen Top-DJs auf der ganzen Welt gespielt wurde. Eine Reihe weiterer Tracks folgten, dann kam "Trompeta", wohl der Hit des Sommers 2008. Nachdem er "Trompeta" an Ricardo Villalobos im Frankfurter Robert Johnson Club überreicht hatte, gefiel es Villalobos so gut, dass er sich entschied, es alleine zu veröffentlichen Boutique-Label Sei es Drum, das bis dahin nur Ricardos eigene Produktionen präsentiert hatte. Sowohl DJs als auch DJ-Presse waren sich einig, dass Sis einer der besten Breakthough-Acts des Jahres war, als das Groove Magazine ihn in seiner Umfrage zum Jahresende als "Producer of the Year" und "Track of the Year" (1. Nesrib, 2. Trompeta) auszeichnete. und Raveline ernannte ihn zum # 2 Live Act des Jahres und Newcomer des Jahres. Nach einer wohlverdienten Welle von Hype hat er eine weitere gut aufgenommene Veröffentlichung für Welcome to Masemenos und Connoisseur Recordings abgeliefert und daraufhin das eigene Label Cocolino Records gegründet. Für Sis sieht die Zukunft weiterhin rosig aus und 2011 wird er sein Debütprojekt mit Get Physical Music veröffentlichen, mit mehr Qualitäts-Tracks und DJ / Live-Sets am Horizont.

SIS's first experience with electronic music was more or less accidental. Inspired by hearing Dj Karotte play percussive Indian-style beats at Frankfurt U60 Club at the age of 21, he decided on the spot that this would be his future.
Burak Sar aka Sis was born in 1980 in Michelstadt, southern Germany, and from a very young age was Inspired by his musician father, who introduced him to a myriad of musical instruments and rhythms with his Turkish musical group. Sis formed a rock band and played the drums, but after his dancefloor epiphany he bought a pair of Technics 1210s and learned how to mix. Within a short period of time spent developing his DJ skills, he began playing in small clubs and parties around Frankfurt and Mannheim.
Not content with limiting himself to DJing, Sis began learning the ropes of production, drawing on his musical roots to craft his own unique style of House Music. Sis gained confidence with his first release (Lilly from the Valley EP, Amused Rec.) in 2006, and he soon gathered more momentum. Following a release for 8bit Rec. (Voices of Istanbul EP), international attention came at the end of 2007 with his first EP for Cecille Rec. (La Garua/Orgsa), a record which sold out within a day in shops across Europe.
His second release for Cecille (Nesrib) was a real bomb, playlisted by all the top DJs around the globe. A number of other tracks followed, then came "Trompeta", arguably the hit track of summer 2008. After handing "Trompeta" to Ricardo Villalobos at Robert Johnson club in Frankfurt, Villalobos liked it so much that he decided to release it on his own boutique label Sei es Drum, which up to that point had only showcased Ricardo's own productions. Both DJs and DJ press agreed that Sis was one of that year’s best breakthough acts, as Groove Magazine awarded him "Producer of the Year" and "Track of the Year" (1st Nesrib, 2nd Trompeta) honours in their end of year poll, and Raveline named him the #2 Live Act of the year and Newcomer of the year.
Riding a well-deserved wave of hype, Sis he has delivered further well-received release for Welcome to Masemenos and Connoisseur Recordings, and followed this up by establishing own label, Cocolino Records. The future continues to look bright for Sis, and in 2011 he will release his debut project with Get Physical Music, with more quality tracks and DJ/live sets on the horizon.
